You could be just three floats away from
better sleep, less stress, and more energy.
REDUCES STRESS & IMPROVES MOOD
Floating can reduce stress and improve mood by balancing cortisol levels thanks to magnesium in your private floatation pool. This can enhance sleep and lower stress through sensory deprivation, while also activating brain pathways that release endorphins and dopamine, boosting positive feelings.
Better sleep
quality
By floating, your brain has the natural ability to drop into a theta state, making it easier to make the transition to delta waves that are necessary for REM sleep. Some doctors believe that 1 hour of sleep in a float therapy session is equivalent to 4-8 hours of deep sleep.
manage pain
& inflammation
Float therapy helps reduce muscle pain by increasing blood flow to the brain, organs and limbs. Floating has proved to show relief of symptoms from pain disorders such as arthritis, fibromyalgia, tendinitis, bursitis and more. It can be the perfect complement to physiotherapy, chiropractic or massage therapy as it helps reduce inflammation in joints and muscles.

The more you float
The better it gets. At City Cave, you’ll float in a private room with a spacious float pool—not a pod or tank—designed for ultimate comfort and relaxation. Each session builds on the last, helping you relax more deeply and enjoy greater benefits.
- Getting Started: On your first float, you adjust to the feeling of weightlessness and sensory relaxation in a calm, private space.
- Deeper Relaxation: From your second float, you begin to let go as your body and mind adapt, drifting into a deeper state of calm.
- Flow State: Experience full relaxation on your third float, with tension melting away and your mind becoming clear and focused.

How it works
Preparing for your first float
Arrival: Aim to arrive 15 minutes early. This allows time for an induction and to watch an instructional video.
Preparation: Read the information provided beforehand including any health contra-indications before your Float. You’ll be floating in a private room equipped with a float pool and shower, and it’s recommended to float nude for the best experience.
Health and Safety: If you’re menstruating, consider rescheduling. No swimming skills are needed due to the pool’s buoyancy. For first-timers, a minimum of three sessions is suggested to fully appreciate the benefits.
WHAT TO BRING
Essentials like a hairbrush and loose clothing for after your session are good to have. Most importantly, bring an open mind!
WHAT TO AVOID
Stay clear of caffeine, energy drinks, alcohol, or caffeine for several hours before your float. Also, avoid using boxed hair dye within 2 weeks, shaving within 12 hours, or getting a spray tan within 6 days of your appointment.
